powerful

I love the power that I feel with this song, the baseline is so strong and energetic, it just pushes the music forward. I may just end up using this in a new game I'm working on, I may create a loop out of it, hope you don't mind. Let me know if you do. Anyway, back to the song. The energy in this song is just great, it's really upbeat and exciting sounding. It never slows down either, seems like it could be used in a game with high action and increasing excitement.. o shit I should probably use it then :)
Awesome song, 5'd and DL'd

Thanks man. That'd be awesome!

Beautiful

I love hearing pieces of music like this. Seriously, I get all my favorite music from newgrounds from authors such as yourself. You won't find to much mainstream music on my mp3, but you will find a ton of newgrounds files. Anyway, I'm a piano player myself so I love that about this piece. The wolf howl really adds to the mood of the music, it's amazing how much an effect such a small sound can have. For a rough draft, you did an amazing job. I'd love to hear the final piece, and I'm intrigued on the project as a whole, I may just buy the DVD. May I suggest making a trailer and uploading it here for your artist? Another very well animated movie did so and I think that probably greatly improved the sales, the trailer was great and made me want to buy the full length DVD. Anyway, I'm sure he's got that all in mind, but pass on the info if not :)
Great piece again, downloaded, thrown onto the mp3 and 5'd.

kelwynshade responds:

Glad you liked the rough draft.

The trailer actually won't be out for about another 6 or 7 months. Right now he's completing the animatics of this project.

Mood setting

I love how this piece really sets up a mood. I think something about it my brain really loves, is that the piece is in minor, yet tries to sound uplifting and happy when generally minor pieces don't sound like that. I won't try and decipher exactly what it is as that may ruin the fun, but regardless I love this piece, the dragging feel at times, the mood, the clarity, it's all great. You made me want to go downstairs and compose something on the keyboard, I might just do that tomorrow, as it is 4 AM now. Anyway, excellent work, downloaded and fived.

MJTTOMB responds:

Well, the entire second half is basically a major-key repetition of the first half, only instead of being Eb major throughout, it makes its way back into C major for the ending.

Also, there are points where in have a C minor chord in the right hand and an Ab major in the left, which basically spells out Ab maj7, so yeah. It's basically a major chord with a minor chord inside. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Sweet

You just earned your way into the sound track of my newest game, should be out in about 2 weeks if I keep working hard at it. You'll fit in perfectly with the unlock I have in mind, sweeeet. Overall nice job with the levels of volume on each part, I like the build ups too. Definitely up beat, and that beginning is sick. Also It's just going to be a loop off the first few seconds, you don't mind if I use audacity to make a loop out of the beginning eh?

Mrmilkcarton responds:

Sounds fine by me, you should send me a PM when the game is all done so I can play and vote on it.

Wow

Glad I noticed thew collab going on in the flash forum about this. Some of the pieces in this are some of the best music I've heard on this site, makes me wish each author would continue their part into a full piece, but then the beauty of this would be gone, so I take it back. Either way, this is awesome and original.

Great stuff

Aside from this peace using amazing sounds, being very balanced and being from one of the greatest games ever, I can still find even more to love about it. I play piano INCREDIBLY good by ear, and this piece has just allowed me to play basically everything in this song because of how clear, and how slow paced (not a bad thing) it is. I can hear each individual note and that really helps me figure out exactly how to play this piece. Anyway, great work and definitely downloaded and going on my modified DS, peace.

"Ill give you pleasure"

"That's right!", I'm using sounds from the FL packs too :P
Anyways, back to the song. I like the upbeat feel this song has overall. It does give the feel of some big space mission about to happen or something of the sort. The use of the vocals was creative and didn't bother me at all. Overall, a nice piece with a solid amount of effort obviously put in.

O man

That was awesome, and soooo reminded of the original cut scene where you meet Geno (more so then any other remix on this site I've heard). It was indeed calming and the instrument use was great, they really worked together to achieve the memory of the original and keep that calm feeling. Also, the fact that Chronamut revived you from the depths of the audio portal has got to count for something :P
Great work, I'll check out your more modern stuff now.

Relaxing

I definitely enjoy the mode of this song. The way everything flows together in a almost "lazy" way is awesome. By that I mean the way sometimes notes drag, then slur to a knew note, almost as if there to tired to switch hehe. Anyway, awesome piece all around, great quality and good instrument choice.

BlazingDragon responds:

Haha! I like your analogies. This is one of the more interesting reviews I've gotten before, and I appreciate the comments.

Thank you!

Smooth

Like you said, not very intricate, but definitely good none the less. I really like how it just flows, it just keeps going. It doesn't even have to end, you can just listen to it until you fall asleep, or walk away and let it fade, it just keeps going though. Kinda feels like I could fall down a giant tower filled with balloons and pillows and soft beds and just bounce in slow motion and keep falling while a camera records me from every which angle. Kinda whack but that's what just came to mind, so why not share :)

Nice piece overall, I think I'll download it :)

Rig responds:

Ooo, nice image. It works, too.
Thanks for the review!
