[Nocturne No. 1- Andante]

Mood setting

I love how this piece really sets up a mood. I think something about it my brain really loves, is that the piece is in minor, yet tries to sound uplifting and happy when generally minor pieces don't sound like that. I won't try and decipher exactly what it is as that may ruin the fun, but regardless I love this piece, the dragging feel at times, the mood, the clarity, it's all great. You made me want to go downstairs and compose something on the keyboard, I might just do that tomorrow, as it is 4 AM now. Anyway, excellent work, downloaded and fived.

Well, the entire second half is basically a major-key repetition of the first half, only instead of being Eb major throughout, it makes its way back into C major for the ending.

Also, there are points where in have a C minor chord in the right hand and an Ab major in the left, which basically spells out Ab maj7, so yeah. It's basically a major chord with a minor chord inside. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Sweet

You just earned your way into the sound track of my newest game, should be out in about 2 weeks if I keep working hard at it. You'll fit in perfectly with the unlock I have in mind, sweeeet. Overall nice job with the levels of volume on each part, I like the build ups too. Definitely up beat, and that beginning is sick. Also It's just going to be a loop off the first few seconds, you don't mind if I use audacity to make a loop out of the beginning eh?

Relaxing

I definitely enjoy the mode of this song. The way everything flows together in a almost "lazy" way is awesome. By that I mean the way sometimes notes drag, then slur to a knew note, almost as if there to tired to switch hehe. Anyway, awesome piece all around, great quality and good instrument choice.

Smooth

Like you said, not very intricate, but definitely good none the less. I really like how it just flows, it just keeps going. It doesn't even have to end, you can just listen to it until you fall asleep, or walk away and let it fade, it just keeps going though. Kinda feels like I could fall down a giant tower filled with balloons and pillows and soft beds and just bounce in slow motion and keep falling while a camera records me from every which angle. Kinda whack but that's what just came to mind, so why not share :)

Nice piece overall, I think I'll download it :)

Funky :)

I really like the piano improvisation/solo, whichever it was. The organ in there is awesome as well. Great stuff all around, good quality, nice beat and just up-beat which is what I love in music.

i'm not a piano player but i tryed to make the piano as i hear it in my mind, anyway, this was supossed to be a colaboration where i put only my trumpet... i ended to make everything beside thr trombone part wich was played by EmoImpaler

sweetness and a half

I love the sound effects you've used here, from the synth to the sweet sounding piano. Every sound fits together amazingly and nothing is overused which makes each part of the song original and leaves you wanting more. Also I have this up very loud right now and the clarity is very good for a newgrounds song, I generally notice a small decrease in quality when it's this loud, but yours is still running perfect. I'm gonna throw this on my modified DS so I can listen to it on the go, good stuff.

Funky~

I've recently grown to like funk style music, and adding humor into the song just makes it even better. The lyrics were hilarious, and the music itself was very soulful, good stuff. If murder was ever to be justified, it would be as described in this song :P

Sweet

I've recently grown to listen to a lot more RHCP and funk, and this was pretty awesome. It got used in a pretty sweet flash so it should get a little more attention hopefully. I like the base line in particular and the different approach with the intro, overall nice job.

You have one awesome piano sound. It makes me jealous when I play on my keyboard, and that thing was $500. Nice song though, Your composing skills are awesome as well as your transitions. Really like what you did with the strings here, very powerful yet relaxing feel.

Ear Candy

That's my new phrase for this. I see what you mean by this song not fitting in a lot of places, it's just a lot of stuff mixed, which works great. I love the sounds you used, and the sound quality is pretty high, especially for a 6 minute song. I also like how much is going on at all times, you can listen to so many different parts if you can tune in to them, awesome work. I can see this on the weekly best.
